Things here have been crazy. The Conservance Death Machine is slowly coming back to life; currently the carburetor is being broken down (very slowly and with help from WD-40 and Miller High Life) and will soon be back up and running. Despite that taking up most of my time; I’ve been keeping pace with the world around me.
BP has placed a preliminary cap on the Macando oil well, site of the Deepwater Horizon explosion, and the worst oil spill in US history.
In a rare moment of honesty and truth, BP said celebration was the wrong word, and that the cap might not work.
Despite the press black out, blatant disregard of safety procedures, and potential cover-up: at least it’s not ALL bad!
