I Went Into The Woods…

After many years off-putting and being easily distracted, I’ve finally begun to read Thoreau. Walden, specifically.

I like it.

Thoreau writes about issues that are still relevant today. Waste, excess, working ourselves to death, and not really getting the meaning of it all.

What should we do? Take stock of our lives. What is meaningless, useless, and utterly futile work? That needs to be removed immediately.

Then look at what is good, important, and worthy: Focus on that. Fill your life with meaning and purpose.
